#PBCFR #BATTALION2 units fought a stubborn fire in Wellington. Units were dispatched to Meadowbreeze Drive at about noon. Before arriving, they saw a large column of smoke. A deep-seated fire started in the garage and spread throughout the attic space. It took about one hour to bring it under control. No residents or pets were injured.Â
As a retired firefighter and founder of the First Responders Foundation, I know FPL had to pull the meter on this fire. Once the meter is pulled, the homeowners will probably be out of the house for nearly a year. This family lost everything and needs donations. They have one infant and six teenagers. If you can donate, it would be greatly appreciated.
